What are Pricing Benchmark Reports (PBRs)?

Pricing Benchmark Reports (PBR's) are created by supplier subject matter experts and based on NET(net)’s 15 years of Federated Market Intelligence. The PBR will give your organization a detailed analysis of the submitted technology spend with a specific supplier, and compare that pricing to:

  • Overall Market High
  • Market Low
  • Market Average
  • NET(net) Client Average

To get a new Pricing Benchmark Report, you will need to do the following:

  1. Purchase a new Benchmark Subscription
  2. Request a new Benchmark for that subscription
  3. Submit supplier documents for a Net(net) analyst to review
  4. Review results with analyst when completed

Each of these actions is explained in more detail below.

Analyst Call & PBR Review

Once all required documents have been submitted for review, the Pricing Benchmark Report (PBR) is created.  The analyst will have 48 hours to execute an initial review and communicate any additional requests for information and or documentation required to continue.  With completed information, analyst can establish the agreement baseline, and begin comparison to NET(net)’s Federated Market Intelligence (FMI).  Once this analysis is complete, the completed PBR will be made available via the WIN(win) platform.

During the acknowledgement and receipt of the PBR, you will have the ability to ‘Opt-Out’ of Supplier Negotiation Services from NET(net).  Our subject matter experts have experience in over 25,000 field engagements for 2,500 clients worldwide since 2002.  If you have any questions on how working with us will help you realize the PBR results, please discuss with your analyst.
